He was predeceased by: his father William Carle Sr.; his sister Lucinda Franklin; his close friend William Armentrout; and his son Jesse Bullock. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Shoemaker Gaylor; his wife Nila Janes; his children, Misty Claeys, Joshua Carle, Heidi Carle, Devon Gomez (Alberto), Corrie Cummings (Jenna), Christopher Rowland and Travis Willits (Megan); his goddaughter Cheyenne Armentrout; his siblings, William Carle (Mary), Darlene Bates, Dani Janes (Rick), Michael Keith, Richard Carle and Michael Carle; and his brother-in-law Tom Franklin. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
