He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Tapley and Eula Tapley (Saltsman); and his brother Harold Dean Tapley of Coffeen, Illinois.. He is survived by: his children, Scott Tapley (Kay) of Karnak and Mecca Helm (Jeff) of Grand Chain, Illinois; his grandchildren, Brett Tapley (Carrie) of Tunnel Hill, Brandi Seely of Nashville, Megan McClellan (Jordan) of Grand Chain and Maren Moreland (Brad) of Dongola, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Makayla Seely, Madyson Seely, Micah Tapley, Grady Lee McClellan, Myla Moreland and Liberty McClellan; and his sister Suzann Spindler of Chester, Illinois. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
