Debbie Winzell wrote a sympathy message

“Kay Tapley was one of the dearest people I have ever had the privilege to call my friend. She was one of those people who was the same any time you were with her. Her smile was infectious and her positive attitude denied anyone not to love her. Scott could have searched the world over and not found a more perfect wife. In her last letter to me she called Scott her “angel” during her final fight against cancer. They were perfect together! I will miss her forever. Debbie Winzell”
