He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Morehead and Barbara Morehead (Smith); his siblings-in-law, James and Helen Van Elsen; and his sister Kathy Myrick.
He is survived by: his wife Cristine "Crissy" Morehead; his children, Stephanie Conley (Kyle), Casey Morehead (Kari), Nathan Morehead (Angela) and Nicole Morehead; his grandchildren, Landon, Bentley, Madison, Emma, Taylor, Brooklyn, Nolan, Mackenzie, Colt, Christina, Braelynn, Lucas, Mia, Hayden and Rowan; and his brothers, Bruce Morehead (Tina), Larry Morehead (Roberta) and Bobby Morehead. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
