It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Harbison of Karnak, Illinois, born in Belknap, Illinois, who passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Barbara leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Harbison; her children, Cecil Harbison, Becky Alsip, Bernell and Hirtz; and her sister Phyllis Riley.
She is survived by: her sons, Tommy Harbison (Jean) of Swansea and James Harbison of Eastern Kentucky. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
