She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Dawson and Lola F. Dawson (Honn); her husband Sherman "Coonie" Pinnell, Jr.; her son Michael Pinnell; and her granddaughter Jenny Norton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Drake (Howard) of Charleston and Elaine Landes (Richard) of Rosedale, Indiana; and her daughter-in-law Christie Pinnell of Texarkana, Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and eighteen great-great-grandchildren.
