He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald "Pete" and Marilyn Hays (Willison). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Susie" Henderson; his children, Kelly Carnine (Edward) of Richmond Hill, Mike Hays (Crystal) of Paris and Emily Hughes (Mark) of Hillsboro, Illinois; his brothers, Merle Hays (Evelyn) of Paris and Kenny Hays (Dorothy) of Paris; his grandchildren, Bailey, Alex, Jada Carnine, Corey Hays (Taylor), Myranda Chambers (Dalton), Carter, Chase Hays, Marshall, Griffen and Lola Hughes; his great grandchildren, Ezekiel Hays and Pierce; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
