We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2023, at the age of 84, Melinda C. Lewis of Kansas, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melinda C. Lewis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Covey and Mary "Mame" Covey (Miller); and her siblings, Patsy Covey, George W. Covey, Ben Covey and Mary Linn Combs.

She is survived by: her siblings, Gerry Covey (Joy) of Elgin, Illinois and Julia Robinson of Charleston, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

For those who wish, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Kansas Presbyterian Church.
