He is survived by: his children, Sara Simons of Terre Haute, Tabitha Young (Cory Courson) of Effingham, Heather Simons of Oakland, Jeffrey Simons, Jr. (Whitney) of Mattoon and Missy Simons of Charleston, Illinois; his sister Dawn Staley (David) of Rapid City; and his grandchildren, Ezekiel Stokes, Lucas Butler, Bella Butler, Landon Courson, Maxton Courson, Jackson Courson and Meryn Simons.
