James R. Stark Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Stark (Kansas, Illinois), who passed away on May 18, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Summerhill and Irene Stark (Pinnell); his wife Clara Gibbons; and his siblings, Jack Stark and Anne Morris.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Tillinghast (Scott) of San Diego, Judy Stark of Kansas and Lisa Stark (Trisha Ramirez) of Tempe, Arizona; and his grandchildren, Scott Tillinghast of San Diego, James Tillinghast (Susana) of San Diego, Lesley Arambula (Anthony) of Scottsdale, Angela Rarrick (Rob) of Phoenix, Anthony Vere of Phoenix, David Stark of Phoenix and Kevin Stark of Phoenix. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Pleasant Hill Christian Church.
