He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester "C. R." Acord and Emma Loretta Acord (Stewart); his son Ronald McKinney; and his son-in-law Bruce Davis. He is survived by: his wife Diana Jeanne Drake; his children, Tina Davis of Seattle, Sid Acord (Tammy) of Ashmore, Chris Acord (Michelle) of Hartford, Robert Turner of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Lennie McKinney (Barb) of Sullivan, Indiana; his sister Ruth Malcom of Atlanta, Georgia; his daughter-in-law Vickie McKinney of New Lebanon, Indiana; and his pet Mollie. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Kansas Christian Church or to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
