James L. Burgett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Burgett of Kansas, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis W. Burgett and Evelyn Mae Burgett (Morgan); his son Chris Thompson; and his grandson Austin Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Chad Burgett (Angelia) of Charleston, Laurie Gardner (Duncan) of Great Falls and Matt Burgett (Tammy) of Marshall; his sister Sandra Griffin of West Monroe, Louisiana; and his grandchildren, Logan, Madison Burgett and Jessica Thompson.
