We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2023, at the age of 84, Forrest Leslie Horton of Kansas, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry L. Horton and Mary Ellen Horton (Stipp); his siblings, Walter Thomas Horton and Reta Mae Childress; and his grandchildren, Dakota, Lucas and Parker Horton.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Joyce E. Jones; his wife Joyce; his children, Lesley Jo Gleason (Stephan) of Stuarts Draft, VA, Crystal Lyn Kaiser (Tim) of Bardstown, KY and Jesse Horton (Stephanie) of Colorado Springs, CO; his siblings, Leo Horton (Audrey), Juanita Branam of Terre Haute, IN and Mary Ruth Clark of Paris, IL; his grandchildren, Megan Finley of Jacksonville, AL, Danielle Gleason of Stuarts Draft, VA, Alyssa Carnell, Andrew Hammond of Marshall, IL, Kaelynn Horton of Colorado Springs, CO and Caleb Gleason of Stuarts Draft, VA; and his great grandchildren, Remington Rice, Scarlet Carnell, Ryan Finley and Silas Hammond. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
