He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Marie (Janssens) and LeRoy "Leo" R. Emmerling; and his sister Patricia Lawlor (Donald). He is survived by: his nephew Patrick Lawlor (Patricia); and his nieces, Kathy Lindgren (Mark), Laura Henneberry, Heather Golownia (Jim) and Holly Seese.
