He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Alden and Bertha Louise Hanner (Hance). He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Holland (Jim) of Mason, IL, Lori Turner (Jack) of Oakland, IL and Diane David (Joel) of Oakland, IL; and his close friend Margaret "Peggy" Finson. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kansas Christian Church (110 N Franklin St, Kansas, IL 61933). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
