She was predeceased by: her parents, C. W. McElroy Sr. and Virgil Ann McElroy (Knox). She is survived by: her son John Lee Jr. (Jena) of Buckley, IL; her brothers, C. W. McElroy (Wanda) of Kankakee, IL, Don McElroy of Memphis, TN and Darryl McElroy of Memphis, TN; and her grandchildren, Gimone Lee of Humble, TX, Ju-Juan Barnes-Lee of Florida, Kyari Lee of Kankakee, IL, John Lee III of Atlanta, GA and Javeah Lee of Buckley, IL.
