She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kmiecik and Josephine Kmiecik (Tarnowski); and her sister-in-law Patricia Macievic (Wayer). She is survived by: her husband Michael J. Wayer; her children, Ali (Jeff Dumas), Jason (Misti) and Teri (Travis Crumrine); her grandchildren, Olivia, Sophia, Gabriella, Spencer, Isaac and Stella; and her brothers-in-law, Vincent Wayer, David Wayer and Gregory Macievic. She is also survived by several cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (428 S Indiana Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (jdrf.org), a cause close to her heart are appreciated.
