Thrasilla E. Janczak Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thrasilla E. Janczak of Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Brouillet and Albia Brouillet (Denault); her husband Florian Janczak; her sons, Bill Janczak and Steve Janczak; her grandson Jeffrey Drake; and her siblings, Vearl Brouillet and Armilla Coury.
She is survived by: her children, Dave (Angie Janczak), Tony (Marla Janczak), Larry (Nancy Janczak), Ken (Pam Janczak), Margaret Ravens of Galesburg, Karen (Bob Drake) and Monica Swafford of Irmo, SC. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Kankakee - Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home (1480 W Court St, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 953 S 9th St, Kankakee, IL 60901.
