He is survived by: his wife Mary Maass of Kankakee; his son Thomas C.; his daughter-in-law Miriam Maass of Kankakee; his daughter Janet; his son-in-law Rick Foltz; and his grandchildren, Casey Maass, Rachel Maass (Andy Lopez) and Lauren Baron (Trevor).

Memorials may be made to the Uplifted Care, St. John United Church of Christ, or Salvation Army.
