It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terrance Wayne Calhoun of Kankakee, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Garner Sr. and Katherine Verdell Calhoun; his siblings, Angie Honeysuckle, Charmaine Calhoun, Venessa Calhoun, Delphia Clark and Yuvette Idowu; and his granddaughter Destiny.
He is survived by: his friend Adline Lane; his children, Quana Thomas, Tenia Lane-Calhoun, Monique Lane-Calhoun, Chanel Lane, De'Andre Lane-Calhoun, Dontrell Lane-Calhoun, Terrence Lane-Calhoun and Michael Lane-Calhoun; his siblings, Charles William Garner Jr., Paulette Calhoun, Norma Calhoun and Julian Calhoun; his grandchildren, Markiya, Jasmine, William, Joy, Donovan, Messiah and Senique; and his aunts, Frances Jordan and Antonides Andrew. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
