She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Loica and Viola Loica (Gardner); and her brother John Loica. She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Hamende; her grandchildren, Curtiss' and Lexi; her son John Hamende (Jennifer) of Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Curtiss Hamende of Moorhead, MN and Alexiss Hamende Muchow (Tyler) of Moorhead, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Dianne Loica (Meyer) and Betty Lovell.
To keep her safe from COVID-19, her family moved her to the Sanford Hillsboro Care Center where she received the care she needed for the remainder of her life.
