With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Andreina (Kankakee, Illinois), who passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ansel Fortin and Cecille Fortin (Pombert); and her siblings, Terry, Leslie, Richard, Lonnie Fortin and Claire Jackson.
She is survived by: her spouse Leonida Andreina of Patrick's Catholic Church; her children, Kim (Nancy), Karla Costello (Corey), Kirk, Krista Sommer (Don) and Karie Mueller (David); her grandchildren, John Kambic, Leah Kambic, Joe Kambic, Chloe Hiley (Ken), Thomas Costello (Desiree), Daniel Mueller and Maria Mueller; her great grandchild Leon Mueller; and her sister Marilyn Kurowski (Jack). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (211 N Center Ave, Bradley, IL 60915).
