He is survived by: his children, Roy Chester Brooks of Kankakee, IL, Murry Brooks (Karla) of Kankakee, IL, Richard Brooks (Laura) of Kankakee, IL, Donald Brooks (Monique) of Kankakee, IL, Phyllis Bland (Steve Jr.) of Detroit, MI, Sharon Carter (Richard) of Kankakee, IL and Mildred Hendrix (Quillie) of Crawford, Mississippi; and his sister-in-law Nora Brooks of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
