It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter A. Torchia of Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Torchia and Rose Torchia (Polizzi); and his siblings, Angelina Sandrolini, Josephine Torchia, Rosemary Torchia, Henry Torchia, Joseph Torchia and Anthony Torchia.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Rupprecht; his children, Meta Rose Torchia of Chicago, IL and Phillip Torchia; his daughter-in-law Gina Lamonica of Bloomington, IL; his sister-in-law Lean Torchia of Henry, IL; and his stepgranddaughter Casey Carlson of Dekalb, IL. He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews.
