He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois May and Barbara May (Schiltz). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith; his children, Stacie, Susan (Brian), Shannon (Stephen), Elizabeth (David), Ryan (Maria) and Gregory; and his siblings, Germaine, Marian, Eugene and James. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
