It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nichola Susan Frey of Kankakee, Illinois, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Winston McSwain and Hazel McSwain; her siblings, Priscilla "Jake" McSwain and Robert McSwain; her son Robert Frey; and her daughter-in-law Jossette Frey.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Frey (Dick); her sons, Richard "Mike" Frey (Cindy Gordon) of Limestone, IL, Johnathan Frey (Donna Herron) of Canton, IL, Charles Frey (Patricia Lowery) of Kankakee, IL, William Frey (Leah Vick) of Aroma Park, IL, Daniel Frey (Kelly Glenn) of Rileyville, VA. and Edward Frey of Fort Myers, FL.; her siblings, Becky Gurley of Eureka, MO. and William; her siblings-in-law, Mary McSwain of Webster Grove, MO., Jan (Donald White) and Robert (Judy Frey); and her grandchildren, Angela Mather, Robert Frey, Jack Frey, David Frey, Matthew Frey, Benjamin Frey, Nathan Frey, Tyler Fallings, Christopher Trobaugh, Nicholas Frey, Jacob Frey, Wilson Senesac, Jacob Senesac, Daniel Frey, Casimer Frey and Joseph Frey. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
