It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary G. Sykes (Kankakee, Illinois), who passed away on August 3, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bailey Sykes; her mother Igentry Johnson; her siblings, Ernest, Otis Johnson and Marjory Thompson; and her grandson Cornell Allen Gathering.
She is survived by: her child Igentry Jones. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
