She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman "Sherm" Mitchell and Madonna Gibson Mitchell; and her husband Terry Long. She is survived by: her son Brett Brady (Laura); her granddaughter Alisha Gifford (Phil); her great grandchildren, Olivia and Lucas Gifford; her sister Dianne; and her brother-in-law Mike Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
