It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn E. Thompson of Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Strouzas and Ellen Strouzas (Nelson); and her brother Robert Keene. She is survived by: her husband Harold Thompson of Kankakee; and her children, Mark (Janet Thompson), Vicki Jernagin (Jay Hopper), Kathy (Perry Irvin), Lori (Joe Bradford) and Lisa (Alan Brandenburg). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
