She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Gathing and George Gathing; and her siblings, John Gathing of Jesse, JC, Fred "Pappy" Gathing, Charles Gathing, Nathaniel White, Earl White, Bernadine Evans and Dorothy "Doll" Ousley (Sandy Sanders).
She is survived by: her children, Marcel F. Love of Fort Myers, FL and Janine L. Love-Estes of Fort Myers, FL; her daughter-in-law Barbara Love of Atlanta, GA; her parents-in-law, Mary Etta Harris of Kankakee, IL, Norman Love of Park Forest, IL, Germaine Love of Newark, NJ and Nancy White of Las Vegas, NV; and her grandchildren, Marcellus Love, Kimeneisha Love (Gutema Mumed) of Brooklyn Park, MN, Jasmin Love (Kelton Turner, Sr.) of Montgomery, AL, Frank J. Upton of Fort Myers, FL, Jade L. Estes of Fort Myers, FL and Joslyn M. S. Love of Fort Myers, FL. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
