She was predeceased by: her siblings, William, Sanders, Robert Jamison, Sally Jethrow, Lillie Carter and Alice Alexander.
She is survived by: her husband Gus Brooks; her son Dwight Hargrove (Donna); her sisters, Annie Vaughn of Columbus, MS and Mary Hargrove of Racine, WI; her grandchildren, Derek and Devon Hargrove; her nephew Emery Williams (Daun Sowders); and her friend Carrie Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
