He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Ervin; his children, Lonyae McGill (Octavious), Artemus Ervin of Kankakee, IL, Marcus McGill (Christina) of Kankakee, IL, Matthew McGill (Raven) of Bourbonnais, IL, Terrance Ervin (Christian) of Aurora, CO, Lonnie McGill Jr. (Juamana) of Jackson, MS and Jason McGill (Andrea) of Detroit, MI; his daughter-in-law Nikki McGill of Jackson, MS; his siblings, Johnnie McGill (Ada), Elizabeth James of Jackson, MS and Mary Louise McGill of Momence, IL; his aunt Barbara Bennett of San Diego, CA; his goddaughters, Tiffany Lane and Jessie Mae Bolar of Kankakee, IL; and his close friends, Jimmie Smith, Frank Rowe and Steve Hunter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
