It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Mayotte of Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph Mayotte to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Mayotte and Doris "Jerry" Mayotte (Cavitt); his sister-in-law JoAnn Mayotte; and his great-niece Jaime Brandenburg. He is survived by: his son Jonathan; his daughter-in-law Jessica Mayotte of Chicago; his daughter Stephanie Mayotte of Champaign; his sister Jane; his brother-in-law Paul Gerth of Bourbonnais; his brother Steve Mayotte of Seminole, FL; his grandson James Mayotte; his great-grandparent Jonathan; and his mother-in-law Jessica. He is also survived by four nephews; three nieces; and several great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the BBCHS Football Team.
