With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacquelyn Hammond of Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on June 29, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Gulczynski and Flossie Gulczynski (Chambers); her husband John Hammond; her son Robert "Bobby" Boyd Jr.; her daughter-in-law Kelly Boyd; and her sisters, Patricia Clary, Janice Miller and Mary Beth Benoit.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Boyd (Diane) of Kankakee and Rebecca Obarski (Bob) of Franklin, TN; her stepdaughter Elizabeth Hammond; her brother Ted Gulczynski of Clifton; her brother-in-law Jodee Benoit of Kankakee; her grandchildren, Austin Boyd (Liz) of Kankakee, Matthew Boyd of Kankakee, Alex Boyd (Grace) of Kankakee, Andrew Obarski and Ellen Griffy (Nathan) of Springfield, TN; and her great grandchildren, Colleen, Sean, Briar, Porter and Madeline. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
