She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Huntley and Ruby Huntley (Goodrich); and her sisters, Norma Kraft and Shirley Arseneau. She is survived by: her husband William Cheffer of Kankakee; her children, Larry W. Cheffer (Christina) of Kankakee, Rhonda K. Cheffer of Kankakee and Nancy L. Peterson (Pete) of St. Anne; her brother Ralph Huntley of Bourbonnais; and her grandchildren, Chad Peterson, Jaysen Peterson (Tricia), Sarah Schoon (Cody), Nicolle DeMarco and Chance DeMarco. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Prairieview Lutheran Home or Uplifted Care in her name.
