As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Harry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wasson and Ilene Wasson of Eldora Iowa. He is survived by: his children, John Wasson (Rebecca) and Rachel Kelly Wasson; his stepdaughters, Kasi Howell (Troy) and Michelle Yohnka (Robert); and his siblings, Jay Wasson (Lee), Connie Klett (Scott) and Carla Jackson (Wally). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jensen Funeral Home (3639 EAST State Route 17, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
