He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardie J. Bell Sr. and Idella Smoke Bell; his children, William Bell and Takesha Harris; his granddaughters, Marquisha Hill and MaKayla Bell; and his brothers, Jimmie Belle and Johnnie Lee Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Bell of Kankakee, IL; his children, Aron Bell (Pamela) of Bourbonnais, IL, Deonte Bell of Texas, Harlan Bell of Texas and Melinda Butler (Curtis) of Kankakee, IL; his siblings, James Bell (Wanda) of South Carolina, William Johnson (LaKesha) of Kankakee, IL, Markus Bell of Alabama, Joann Johnson of Kankakee, IL, Denolia Gale of Kankakee, IL, Lucille Pankey (Richard) of Kankakee, IL, Polly Hardaway of Bradley, IL and Dorothy Sears of Alabama; his aunt Annie Harris (Bishop Beado); and his parents-in-law, Susie Ward (Danny) of New York, Teresa Davis of Kankakee, IL, Sylvester Davis of Kankakee, IL and Katherine Goodwine of South Carolina. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
