She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Tanzy and Georgia Samuels; her daughter Antoinette Tanzy; and her grandson Antonio Joiner. She is survived by: her children, Chris Tanzy (Jacqueline), Marcelus Tanzy (Venus), Angela Wilson and Keverez Tanzy; her stepson Trevian Yates; her siblings, Ruth Greenly, Willie Tanzy and Jacqueline Tanzy; her close friend Mary Frazier; her friend Steven Clark; her nieces, Salina Tanzy and Diamond Sangster (Hips); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Taiwo Grant and Gimel March; and also Christopher Clark. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 3 stepsons.
