He was predeceased by: his father Ralph "Butch" Kirchner; and his sister Elizabeth. He is survived by: his mother Ardis Knight (Bryan) of Tennessee; his wife Denise; his son Ben of Limestone; his siblings, Kevin Kirchner (Sheila) of Bonfield and Heather Thurston (Jeremy) of Herscher; his stepbrother Nigel Knight (Kathy) of Kankakee; and his stepmother Nancy Snedecor (Jerry) of Bonfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
