She was predeceased by: her parents, John Peirce and Grace Peirce (Houser); her husband Herbert Ziemer; her daughter-in-law Dixie Donohue; and her sister Shan Hans.

She is survived by: her sons, John Donohue (Patricia) of Watseka and Michael Donohue of Fairfield Glade, TN; and her stepdaughter Pamela Nault (Stephen) of Bourbonnais. She is also survived by four step-granddaughters; one step-grandson; and two step-great-grandchildren.
