We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2021, at the age of 91, Ellaretta Ziemer of Kankakee, Illinois, born in Hoopeston, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Peirce and Grace Peirce (Houser); her husband Herbert Ziemer; her daughter-in-law Dixie Donohue; and her sister Shan Hans.

She is survived by: her sons, John Donohue (Patricia) of Watseka and Michael Donohue of Fairfield Glade, TN; and her stepdaughter Pamela Nault (Stephen) of Bourbonnais. She is also survived by four step-granddaughters; one step-grandson; and two step-great-grandchildren.
