With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earnest Robertson (Kankakee, Illinois), born in Crawford, Mississippi, who passed away on May 31, 2018 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jimmie Lee Mosley and Augusta Lee Jackson; his niece Mattie B. Short; his nephews, Jimmie Lee Mosley Jr. and Pejo; and his great grandchild Kamani Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah F. Robertson of Kankakee, IL; his children-in-law, Ernest II and Hatti Robertson; and also, DanTaya Robertson II of Kankakee, IL, Eric Robertson (Jennifer Reiners), Dorothy Robertson, Lillie Ann, George Burnette of Brooksville, Earnestine Robles of Seattle, WA and Barbara Love of Brooklyn Park, MN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several 'adopted' daughters and goddaughters; and a host of other relatives and friends.
