It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Louis Boyd of Kankakee, Illinois, born in Buckingham, Illinois, who passed away on June 2, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Boyd and Dora Boyd (Arthur); his parents-in-law, Peter and Anna Bolatto; his daughter-in-law Frieda Boyd; his brother Leon Boyd; and his siblings-in-law, James Fisher, Edward Davis, Frank Pullman and Dorothy Pullman.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Mae Boyd; his daughter Linda; his son-in-law Mark Messerle of Kankakee; his son Ronald Boyd of Buckingham; his grandchildren, Cherise Ostrowski (Tony), Courtney Robles (Juan), Ryan Boyd (Kristin), Keith Boyd (Ashley) and Kevin Boyd (Leanne); his great grandchildren, Travis Ostrowski, Trenton Acevedo, Taylor Ostrowski, Dylan Acevedo, Isaiah Robles, Ensley Boyd, Emma Boyd and Aidan Boyd; his siblings, William Boyd (Paula) of Concord, Betty Davis of Palatine and Patricia Fisher of Kankakee; and his brother-in-law Robert Bolatto (Vicki) of Campus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
