With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Denzel Travis (Kankakee, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2024 at the age of 4. He is survived by: his parents, Deandra Johnson and Tavist Hawkins; his sisters, Areyah Johnson and Abunda'lah Hawkins; his grandparents, Deanne Tyson, Oliver Johnson and Theresa Pollard; his aunts and uncles, Ernest Tyrrell Tyson, Nefatara Tyson, Olivia Johnson, Treshawn Johnson and Deandre Johnson; his great-aunt Mischell; his cousin KenJuan Brown; and his caregiver Chandler.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lax Mortuary (187 S Greenwood Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901).
