It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia K. Wells-Dee (Kankakee, Illinois), who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Oscar and Louise Wells; her brother Leo Oscar Wells, Jr.; her brother-in-law Larry Trass; her mother-in-law Lucinda Dee; her grandparents, Ida Wells, Robert and Jessie Townsend; and her nephew Theron M. C. Harris.

She is survived by: her husband Timothy Dee; her daughters, Gabrielle Louise Dee of Kankakee and Arianna Nicole Dee of Kankakee; her siblings, Judy Wells, Lenora Wells, Kimberly Trass and Larry Leon Wells; and her siblings-in-law, Dawn R. Wells, Eric Springer and Sharon Crossley (Alice Dee). She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
