She is survived by: her husband Charles Garner of Kankakee, IL; her children, Denise Lateef of Kankakee, IL, Abdul Raheem-X of Denver, CO and Kenyatta Calhoun of Kankakee; her stepchildren, Trelayna Daniels, Charles Garner, III of Milwaukee, WI and Kendall Garner of Charlotte, NC; her siblings, Chenita Jefferies (Kevin) of Memphis, TN and Jermaine Cooper (Shaterica) of Memphis, TN; and her aunt Calimas Hill of Kankakee, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (1055 N Schuyler Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shiloh Full Gospel Baptist Church (963 S Dearborn Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901).
