He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew J. Pristach and Shirley J. Pristach (Kremer); his sister Holle Tousignant; and his family, Springer Spaniel and Mia.

He is survived by: his wife Jill S. Londergon; his children, Jacob Pristach of Kankakee and Anna Pristach of Kankakee; his sister Tina Pristach-Patrick of Tucson, AZ; and his aunt Elaine Kremer of Bourbonnais, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Hundred Club of Kankakee County, an organization that supports the families of fallen policemen and firemen.
