We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2020, at the age of 69, Carolyn Sue Wells (Kankakee, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Hamilton and Lucy Hamilton; and her siblings, Bennett Hamilton, Rosa Lee Johnson, Henry and Jerry Hamilton.

She is survived by: her husband Eugene Wells of Kankakee, IL; her children, Shannon Wells of Philadelphia, PA and Erica Wells-Campbell of Kankakee, IL; her grandchildren, Charris Wells (Jasmine) of Bethalto, IL, Brandi Wells of Kankakee, IL, Andrew Campbell, Jr. of Kankakee, IL and Camille Wells of Brownville, NJ; her great grandchildren, Reign and Ryan Finch; and her sisters, Tracy Hamilton-Creighton of Minneapolis, MN and Dorothy Hamilton-McCray of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a group of friends that were more like sisters.
