He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie C. Murrell and Fatima I. Milai Murrell; and his siblings, Johnnie, Wendell, Kenneth, Vernon, Alvin (Oreon Roberts) and Yvonne Murrell.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Patty Murrell), Omar Murrell of Dubuque, Marcel (Lucy Murrell), Orlando (Stacy Murrell) and Vanessa Murrell of Buena Vista, California; his siblings, Cornell Murrell of Bourbonnais, Floyd (Alicia Murrell), Amonez and Sylvia Murrell of Kankakee; and also Sam Rover of Pembroke Township. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Redeeming Life Ministries (2400 Waldron Rd, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
