She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Henkel and Idella Henkel (Heeren). She is survived by: her husband Don McCabe; her daughters, Amanda Gee (Steve) of Braidwood and Amy McCabe of Washington, D. C.; and her grandsons, Marshall Gee and Emmett Gee. She is also survived by her family and close friends.

Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 500 N. Cleveland Avenue, Bradley, Illinois.
